The present array of BMW model is divided into "Series". In 2004 it was proclaimed by BMW to produce odd-numbered series on models like estate or wagon models and saloon or sedan and even-numbered series were of two-door cabriolets and coup├ęs. These applications were invigorated as the Z4 and in 2003 which was replaced by the aging Z3 roadster and the latest 6 Series supplementation continued with the existing BMW 5 Series.

A special M Sports Package comes along with the 2008 BMW 135i and the package offers a striking look and even more performance then ever. Some of the special features of this M Sports Package include18 inch wheels that come with performance tires, the special M Sport Suspension, which offers reduced body roll and better tracking, the special M logo on the door sill trims, a foot rest for the left foot of the driver with the M logo, as well as a special M leather sporty style steering wheel. There are also leather trimmings on the handbrake, handbrake handle, and the gearshift leather, and they are done in very soft leather that is of high quality. The interior of the car features beautiful interior trim that is Glacier Silver aluminum. A special suspension system is in the car as well, and the M Sports Suspension includes a great performance braking system as well.
